LIKE MIKE HUSKIES CLUB/AAU PROGRAM
Our club basketball program is year-round which runs annually from September-August, focusing on developing elite players and teams. By offering this year-round, players are able to continue their development without interruption and have continual guidance for their basketball journey. Our club program is an intense platform as it is meant to push you to reach and exceed your potential.
Starting at a noticeably young age is very advantageous as the fundamental building blocks are learned at a young age, this is the foundation needed to shape every player’s continual development. Starting later just means players will need to accelerate their growth very quickly with additional intense private training for this acceleration to take place. This is important to stay competitive and relevant to take basketball to the next level like College, Overseas and NBA.
We start with players from 2nd/3rd grade and upwards putting them into teams and developing them. We work on not just their basketball but also building a body of work and exposure in the social media scene to gain the necessary exposure needed to get noticed. During the months March to July we enroll our club teams into the AAU program where they will have the opportunity to gain all the benefits of AAU.
Numerous AAU tournaments and the Jr NBA where they can play against teams from all over the united states and some international teams. The exposure and access to college recruiting coaches are one of the great benefits of AAU, which is why we enter our teams into the AAU circuit.
Being in a club teams makes players standout more and develop at a faster rate but also ensures that they learn the key fundamentals and mental toughness. This is due to what and how they are taught at practice, the frequency of the number of practices and games. We hold tryouts for spots that are available on our teams 4 times every year in October. November, January, and February. Tryouts admission is $5 per player this can be done online or on day of admission, please note by registering online we may contact you to attend a practice session for an early tryout and an opportunity to meet the staff and team.

Each week “A Player of the Week” will be selected based on the players performance in demonstrating the homework drill. This produces a significant impact on the rate of development of each player, as it ensures that players are working on the drills and plans for them to improve.
