Like Mike Sports, youth basketball league runs throughout the year, with leagues in Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring. Our leagues are for both Boys and Girls catering for players of all skill levels and development (Boys and Girl's teams are separate however if limited girls register, they will be play with the boys). The league games are competitive as we sometime allow outside teams or our AAU teams to play in the games held on Saturdays, this allows the league teams to gain exposure and experience in playing other teams and different skill levels outside of the basketball league teams program.

OUR PRACTICE
All Practice sessions and Classroom Education, are conducted by experienced NCAA certified Basketball Coaches, that can coach and train your child/players the right way ensuring they are taught the right skill sets and fundamentals, which will become the building blocks we use for further development.
Our Classroom Education sessions will teach Basketball IQ to educate the players on basketball terminologies, court awareness and positions. Our handbook will consist of the homework material and further information relevant for your basketball development.
OUR HOMEWORK
The Team Coaches will set weekly development plan/drill(s) for players to practice, this will be posted on our Instagram and Facebook pages as homework for every player.
Each week “A Player of the Week” will be selected based on the players performance in demonstrating the homework drill. This produces a significant impact on the rate of development of each player, as it ensures that players are working on the drills and plans for them to improve.
YOUR DEVELOPMENT
Our competitive League is broken up into 2 Levels, Level 1 and Level 2, all players will begin at Level 1 with some exceptions. During the League our players will be evaluated at practice and during the games, players that have shown and demonstrated significant improvement will be elevated to Level 2 at the end of the season.
Level 2 players are trained and taught to prepare for AAU, a higher level of basketball. We will also be testing a new software which allows for live streaming of games and the ability to create highlight films of each player.
